designing with flowers

Our zest for flowers is coupled with a passion for floral education. Trained in Paris by the renowned international florist - Catherine Muller – we consider floristry to be an art form. Visually impactful, we believe the creation of floral displays evokes an emotional response, in the same way other artists and designers do so through their chosen media.

When it comes to our own floral style - nature is our guide and we take creative inspiration from the garden and the organic structures and materials around us. As such, our floristry classes and programmes are designed with the natural world at its core.

Contemporary yet romantic, we promote sustainable floristry and support local grower and we like to break a few floral rules along the way.

Taught by Experts

Our enthusiasm for teaching derives from a background in education and corporate training.

Principal florist - Marie Bailey – spent fifteen years as a university lecturer in some the UK’s leading and most prestigious business schools and academic institutions and uses her experience of teaching in the design and delivery of our floral training. Marie also has a background in HR and has spent time developing corporate training for a number of the U.K's leading businesses.

Taking a student-centred approach, Marie has developed a strong teaching practice, showing students how to ‘think’ as well as ‘do’. She believes that learning should be an immersive experience and that whilst floristry is all about developing creatively, it is equally important that any would-be florist understands the dynamics of the industry and of working as a professional designer.
